Job Description

Plans, coordinates and directs all facilities daily operations which includes plant, and biomedical services. Coordinates construction projects throughout the facility ensuring compliance with the current requirements. Develops and submits budgetary plans for administration approval ensuring established goals are achieved. Coordinates activities and initiatives with the Safety Officer to provide a secure environment for the protection of employees, visitors, and patients.  Provides the organization with support and resources as needed during crisis events, planning, mitigation and response.  Maintains trained staff and actively participates in continuous performance improvements to maximize the effectiveness of departmental operations.

Position based at St Luke's Medical Center - Phoenix and responsible for St. Luke's Medical Center; Tempe St. Luke's Hospital, and St. Luke's Behavioral Health Center. 


- Bachelor's (BA/BS) degree required.

- Thorough knowledge of Facility and Plant Management procedures related to healthcare required.

- Prior healthcare industry setting experience is preferred. Hospital experience is a plus!

- At least 5 years previous experience related to healthcare facilities management. 

- Knowledge of the Joint Commission, DNV environment of care principles as related to business occupancy, physical plant systems, biomed operations, Emergency Management. 

- Fingerprint Clearance Card
