Job Description

Will be responsible for the daily unbilled and failed claims, charge validation and reviews, insurance appeals, audit request from patients and insurance companies.  Will conduct, coordinate, and notify medical records of external audits requested by outside agencies.  Will appeal payer denials provided by the collectors and billers timely.  Will monitors daily census reports, hospital charges, and current projects for accuracy of the hospital charge system.  Prepares monthly quarterly, and yearly reports of audit activities.



Requirements: Must be RN or LPN with experience in Case Management or Utilization Review, strong Medical Terminology, and an  acute care background.
