Job Description

Hospital Collections, Billing, and Follow-up with a better than average expertise.  Contacts patients or responsible third-party payers for payment.  Ensures proper discounts, allowances, and payments are correct. Processes routine collections correspondence.  Reviews accounts for financial class change.  Performs other duties as assigned.  Minimum 2-3 years AHCCCS/Managed Care/Commercial Hospital collections experience with a High School Diploma or equivalent.  HBOC Star/RWS preferred. 


Regulatory Requirements:

- High school diploma.

- BLS Certificationrequired. The training will be provided upon hire at no expense to theemployee.

Minimum Experience:

- Proficient CRT skills; able to type 40-45 wpm; 10-key touch.  Excellent demonstrated organizational skills and ability to interact and communicate effectively with a variety of individuals.  Knowledge of how to read an Explanation of Benefits.

Language Skills:

- Ability to read and communicate effective in English.

- Additional languages preferred


- Basic computer knowledge.

- Customer service
