Job Description

The Physical Therapy Technician, under the clinical supervision of a licensed therapist, will assist in direct and indirect patient care activities including, but not limited to therapeutic activities, gait, transfers, safe transport of patients, set-up and clean-up of items for therapy use and well as maintaining the therapy department treatment areas and documenting completion.  The PT Tech must comply with all hospital policies and procedures and adhere to all tenants of customer service subscribed to by the facility.


Regulatory Requirements:

- Completion of formal training program or two years of experience preferred

- Biannual CPR certification and completion of mid-cycle CPR demonstration.

- Annual health screening

- Annual online learning requirements

Language Skills:

Ability to read and communicate effective in English.

- Additional languages preferred


- Basic computer knowledge
