Job Description

Participates, as appropriate, in the hospital ?s Quality Management Department and Medical Staff peer review and physician profiling programs. Assists, coordinates, and organizes various projects and meetings which impact the overall quality of clinical and support activities/processes. Interacts with Clinical and Quality leadership, Clinical Directors/Coordinators regarding data, information and reports as needed or as assigned. Interfaces with other hospital departments (i.e. Nursing, Hospitalists/Physicians, Medical Records, IS, etc.). Prepares and disseminates data/reports as assigned.This is an opportunity for a qualified candidate to make a high-level impact on hospital patient quality of care and patient safety. Candidate will have a minimum of Bachelor Degree preferably in healthcare-related field. Must be proficient in Word and Excel as well as ability to quickly learn data entry and report writing for various software systems. In this role, the employee will participate in the hospital ?s Quality Management Department and Medical Staff peer review programs as well as assist, coordinate, and organize various performance improvement and accreditation projects and meetings which impact the overall quality of care and processes. Interacts with Administrative, Clinical and Quality leadership, Clinical Directors/Coordinators regarding data and information. Interfaces with other hospital departments (i.e. Nursing, Hospitalists/Physicians, Medical Records, IT, etc.).Qualifications Requirements:- Previous executive level support experience within the last five years (preferably within healthcare)- Work experience in a hospital quality department is preferred- High level knowledge of Word, Excel and Power Point software systems Language Skills:- Ability to read, write and communicate effective and professionally in English.Skills:- Advanced computer knowledge- Ability to independently learn and utilize multiple programs in a manner to facilitate department processes.- Ability to interpret data and generate a variety of appropriate graphic representations.Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled
