Job Description

Ensures that stock and non-stock supplies are received, verified and entered into the Materials Management information system. Receives all products and verifies accuracy of shipment against packing list and purchase order. Inputs receipts after verification into the Materials Management information system. Delivers all stock and non-stock materials received to the appropriate department. Prepares all outgoing shipments of material in accordance with regulations of specified carrier. Contacts freight carrier or otherwise makes arrangements for shipment of goods as needed. Participates, as appropriate, in departmental continuous quality improvement plan. Maintains a safe and clean work area.

- Minimum Education: High School diploma

- Minimum Experience: Previous work experience in a health care supply environment preferred.

- Physical Requirements: Able to lift moderately heavy loads on a continual basis.
