Job Description

The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible to oversee the volunteer program and recruits and retains teen and adult volunteers to meet the hospital's mission, vision, and goals. Serves as the liaison for the ASU Internship Program. In doing so, the Volunteer Manager must solicit input and cooperation from the hospital's leadership team for areas of need and ensuring leadership team commitment to a positive experience for the volunteers.

Position Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED required.

Preferred Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree

Minimum Experience: 1 - 2 years in healthcare and / or volunteer services leadership capacity

Ability to read and communicate effectively in English

Additional languages preferred

Proficient in software applications including MS Office Suite
